The wisdom of Solomon

As a mom I often sigh: I wish I had the wisdom of Solomon. Sometimes I feel as if all I do is make, carefully thought out, decisions about éverything.

About whether it's warm enough to go out without a jacket, whether it's okay for the youngest to go to the playground all alone, and whether my son really does have a bad case of PDD-NOs, which I highly doubt. But hey, what do I know! I'm not as wise a Solomon. I'm just a mom struggling badly to do a good job.

Yes if only I had the wisdom of Solomon my life would so much easier.

But then I would probably be in prison for suggesting to slice a baby in half.

I'm coming over from Blog Stalkers Unite, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends tomorrow I believe. I am ahead for now but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere and I would so, so, appreciate your help. Her blog is and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥

There are days when I get so tired of having to make everyone's decisions all of the time.

Maybe we SHOULD just slice everything in half. Then we at least wouldn't have to listen to the, "There's only one cookie left, who gets it?" junk.
